Terms of Service

Your account

Keep your sign-in secure and tell us at paul@centriai.com if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. The Business plan needs a work email; admins of a company workspace can approve, remove and manage its members and set its rules.

Plans and payment

• Individual is $19.99 per month, or $179.88 per year when billed yearly. Business is $29.99 per user per month, or $299.88 per user per year when billed yearly. Enterprise is priced by agreement in an order form, which takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
• Plans are paid in advance through Stripe and renew each month or each year, as chosen, until cancelled. Prices exclude taxes, which are added where required.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Business seats can be added or removed, and changes are prorated.
• Fees are not refundable, except where the law requires or we agree otherwise.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; the change applies from your next renewal.

Your content

You own your notes, transcripts, recordings and everything else you bring to Centri (“your content”). You give us permission to store, process and transmit your content only as needed to run Centri for you, including sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy for the features you use. We do not use your content to train AI models. Most of your content stays on your computer and never reaches us; see the Privacy Policy for what does.

Recording and consent

You are responsible for telling people when you take notes or transcribe a conversation, and for getting any consent the law requires where you and they are. Some places require everyone's consent. Do not use Centri where recording or transcription is not allowed.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law, or infringe other people's rights, privacy or intellectual property;
• record or process people without the notice or consent the law requires;
• try to get into accounts, data or systems that are not yours, or test our security without our written permission;
• interfere with the service, overload it, or get around its limits;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer Centri, except where the law allows it; or
• use share links or Ask to spread malware, spam or unlawful content.

AI output

Centri uses AI to write notes, titles, briefs and answers. AI can be wrong or incomplete. Answers cite their sources so you can check them; review anything important before you rely on it or send it to others.

Other services

Centri connects to services you choose, such as Google, Microsoft, Zoom, Notion and other meeting tools. Your use of them is governed by their terms. We are not responsible for them, and a connection may stop working if they change their service.

Our service

We work to keep Centri available and secure, and we improve it over time, which can mean changing or removing features. Features marked as previews may change or stop. We will give reasonable notice before removing a feature you pay for, where we can.

Ending your use

You can stop using Centri at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. When an account is deleted, its data on our service is deleted as our Privacy Policy describes; notes on your computer stay with you.

Disclaimers

Centri is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that Centri will be uninterrupted, error free or that transcripts and AI output will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither you nor we are liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and each side's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or your use of Centri in breach of these terms or the law (for example, recording people without required consent), you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using Centri after that, the new terms apply.
